Position

Internship | Civil Litigation

Job Summary

  • Assistance in organizing and sorting court publications nationwide, including identifying relevant summonses, decisions, and procedural acts;
  • Assistance in monitoring and recording procedural deadlines in the legal system;
  • Monitoring legal proceedings, including updating case progress and obtaining documents from state and federal courts;
  • Assistance in preparing management reports and monitoring processes;
  • Support in jurisprudential, doctrinal and normative research;
  • Monitoring of relevant legal news;
  • Support in the team's routine activities.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in the 2nd or 3rd year of Law school;
  • Intermediate to advanced English, with reading and writing skills;
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Interest in working in the area of civil litigation.

Key differentiators:

  • Basic concepts of civil procedure;
  • Prior experience in a law firm (internship or academic activities);
  • Knowledge of court systems and case monitoring;
