Since September 1, 2025, the authentication of commercial books has been done exclusively in digital format at the Commercial Registry of the State of São Paulo (JUCESP), as stipulated in Normative Instruction DREI No. 82/2021 and Normative Instruction DREI No. 79/2022. and Official Circular SEI No. 2343/2023/ME – DREI.
The electronic authentication procedure is presented as a fast and legally secure mechanism, and must be carried out using a digital certificate of the e-CPF or e-CNPJ type, through the VRE | Services system, available at the electronic address. vre.jucesp.sp.gov.br.
This change represents a significant milestone in the modernization and streamlining of JUCESP's services, providing greater speed, security, and efficiency for entrepreneurs and companies.
It should be noted that, from the indicated date, only books that are within the deadline for meeting the requirements will be accepted in physical format.
It is the responsibility of the Commercial Registry to adopt appropriate security measures to safeguard the confidentiality of the contents of the books while they remain in its temporary custody, until their effective disposal.
To assist users, JUCESP has made available the “User Manual – Digital Commercial Book”", with detailed instructions on protocol, electronic signature, and downloading authenticated books.
