Defense in Public Civil Action and Labor Prosecution Prosecution

The Case

We advised a large construction company in labor inspection procedures conducted by the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE), as well as in a civil investigation and a Public Civil Action conducted by the Labor Public Prosecutor's Office (MPT) regarding alleged irregularities. As a result of these procedures, the authorities sought to impose fines and collective moral damages amounting to hundreds of millions of reais, which was substantially reduced to a fraction of the intended amount, benefiting the client through technical defense, negotiation, and the formalization of an agreement.
