Leonardo Neri has extensive experience in Civil Litigation and is highly qualified in Digital Law, Compliance and Privacy and Personal Data Protection, as well as Consumer Law, in addition to having a master's degree in the area of media, entertainment and sports. He represents national and multinational companies in the resolution of civil and consumer disputes.

He works as a consultant for startups, in the acquisition of licenses for sports betting companies and in the implementation of compliance programs with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), in the assessment of risks of administrative and judicial demands and also provides advice to clients before the Sports Court, in the prevention and resolution of disputes related to Consumer Law before the Judiciary, and in judicial and arbitration proceedings involving issues of contract termination, intellectual property, internet and doping. Over the last few years, Leonardo has contributed to a reduction in contingent costs of approximately R$1 billion in the management of the civil portfolio of players with different segments of business activity. Professor, Speaker and Author of several articles on topics related to innovation and consumption in the new economy, sports betting, the General Data Protection Law and Sports Law.

– Management of a portfolio of passive civil lawsuits, in favor of an Infrastructure and heavy construction company, and related consortiums, with approximately 215 cases and a total contingency value of R$11,000,000.00, as well as monitoring a portfolio of active civil lawsuits with 25 cases and a value involved requested by the client of approximately R$345,000,000.00;

– Conducting proceedings in favor of a Chinese company, an Asian and world leader in technology, artificial intelligence and the internet, with a value of R$70,000,000.00 involving unfair competition acts in mobile applications, being the first case of its kind in Brazil;

– Filing of pioneering lawsuits for the sector in the country, for an association representing integrated farmers against a large food company, with the aim of forcing the multinational company to duly comply with contractual clauses and specific legislation;

– Credit recovery of approximately R$$90,000,000.00 in favor of an Investment Fund;
