In the video above we will talk about commercial leasing, and how the lessee entrepreneur should act in the face of the Covid-19 crisis to retain cash in the coming months, given the possibility of renegotiating lease contracts.

It is worth noting that there are already court decisions in the case law of the State of São Paulo granting the suspension of the payment of commercial rents, in full, for 4 months, with the deferral of the payment of these amounts over the course of a year, with the beginning of the payment in installments after the end of the term of said suspension. In other states, such as the Federal District and Paraná, there are decisions granting the drastic reduction of the value of the rent during the interim in which the pandemic occurs, in accordance with government recommendations.
