Saraiva's bankruptcy request, filed by our office on behalf of the company Websoul, was highlighted on the Metrópoles portal.

The request, made last Thursday, will still be analyzed by the São Paulo Court. Websoul is demanding a debt of R$1,400,400 and, for this reason, we are also requesting the blocking of funds in Saraiva's bank accounts.

According to Rafael Mello, partner at Mazzucco & Mello Sociedade de Advogados, the bookstore chain is in a state of insolvency and, therefore, there is no way to make new installments of the debt.
