Strategic Defense in Complex Infrastructure Expropriations
Operational Impacts on the Rio-São Paulo Axis
We are involved in a significant set of expropriation actions linked to the modernization and expansion works of the Via Dutra, a strategic logistics axis connecting Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, involving multiple land registry entries and areas with direct impacts on the economic activity of the affected properties.
Strategic Management of Timing and Conditions for Taking Possession
In this context, our actions were structured in a highly strategic manner, not only to discuss the amount of compensation, but above all to influence the timing and conditions of the repossession, using specific procedural measures to suspend, postpone, or condition the loss of possession as a legitimate instrument for negotiation and maximization of value. In specific cases, we obtained favorable court decisions that suspended provisional repossession, recognizing the relevance of the arguments presented and preventing, albeit temporarily, any interventions on the property.
Technical Structuring and Maximizing Economic Potential
In parallel, we conducted the technical structuring of compensation claims with strong expert and strategic support, guaranteeing the early release of deposited funds (up to 80%) and the adequate formation of evidence to discuss not only the value of the expropriated area, but also indirect damages and the loss of remaining economic potential.
Sophisticated Litigation in Public Concessions
This integrated approach — combining sophisticated litigation, technical expertise, and negotiation skills — has proven crucial in ensuring more efficient results aligned with the concept of fair compensation, especially in complex real estate disputes involving the government and infrastructure concessionaires.
