The Ordinance ME 201/2020 was published in the Official Gazette of the Union (“DOU”) this Tuesday, 05/12/2020, through which the Ministry of Economy determined the extension of the due dates for monthly installments relating to installment programs administered by the RFB and the PGFN, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Therefore, the installments originally due in May, June and July 2020 are extended, respectively, to the last day of August, October and December 2020.
It should be noted that the extension in question does not apply to the installments of taxes calculated under Simples Nacional, probably due to the extension of the due date for taxes calculated under this system granted by Resolution CGSN 154/2020.
