On 11/26/2019, Bill (PL) No. 6,149/2019 was presented, which maintains the start date of the new General Data Protection Law (LGPD) for August 2020, establishing a learning period for companies, with temporal progression of the amount to be applied as a fine, reaching its full value after two years of the law coming into effect, that is, in August 2022.
